We arrived in Anderson Friday afternoon just in time for a swim in the hotel pool with cousins. Friday night brought Carolina BBQ with the grandparents and Great-grandparents. Pip loved all the attention! On the way back to the hotel Mr. R. and I stopped at Target and Miss Pip fell IN LOVE with a pink purse in the toy aisle. She didn't want to put it back on the shelf! Don't worry it will be an appearance on Valentine's Day :)
Saturday morning we met up with most of Mr. R.'s extended family for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. The Cracker Barrel is Jeff's Grandfather's favorite restaurant. I actually think the love of Cracker Barrel runs deep in the Republican family. There were 19 of us at breakfast and I can guarantee you that NO ONE went home hungry. Pip also had her first taste of pancake, grits, and country biscuit. The pancakes were definitely her fave.
