While our friends are wearing winter hats, gloves, and coats, we have 70 degree weather and warm breezes. Every once in a while we miss the North, the idea of snow, memories of skiing and ice skating, the chance to wear heavy winter coats and thick wool socks. And on those nights instead of thinking about what we don't have we try to find the positive in what we do have. Tonight we had an almost empty beach, a sunset, a girl who LOVES the water. We had a game of chase in the tide pools, we had time to dig in the sand, we had seagulls to chase, shells to find, and dogs to pet.
St. Augustine, tonight made us fall in love with you all over again.
