Holiday Traditions

I love holidays and holiday traditions, but I have found since Mr. R and I married and on our own, but also childless it is sometimes difficult to create traditions or continue with the ones we loved during childhood.Growing up we both had family egg hunts and LOVE them, but neither of us was feeling up to heading eggs for the other. It just seemed silly. Last year on a whim, we tried to have the pups hunt eggs filled with treats, but they only wanted the treats from the original egg they found and the squirrels and raccoons feasted on the rest.

I was not willing to give up on trying out new traditions so this year the Easter bunny visited our house with a gift for Mr. R. Only he was a bit tricky this year and didn't leave a fancy basket on our table. Instead Mr. R got these.

The E. Bunny hid these all over our house forcing Mr. R to use his rather large noggin' and search out his gift.

Clue #1: Happy Easter! The Easter Bunny was a bit tricky this and decided to hide your eggs. Put your thinking cap on and get ready for the hunt! Clue #1 is located in Sophie’s comfy spot.

You can always find her there when she needs some alone time.

Location: Sophie's bed under her favorite blanket.

Clue #2: Americano, Shot in the Dark, Cafe au Lait, Cafe Breva, Latte, Macchiato, Cappuccino or Double Shot.

Location: Our Keurig coffee maker. It is the lifeline of our marriage. I am not joking!

Clue # 3: What kind of bear is best? That’s a ridiculous question! False. Black bear. Well, that’s debatable.

Location: Office Season 3 DVD. A weekend favorite when nothing's on the telly.

Clue #4: My favorite purchase from Anthro! In fact we might need a few more.

Location: Our latte bowls.

Clue #5: Henna He Bawdy Their? Where would you go to check?

Location: The clue is a nod to our favorite game, Mad Gab. (Anybody there?) Check the front door!

Clue #6: You say I never hang these up...look where we store the clean ones.

Location: I am bad at hanging towels to dry after my shower. I would rather get a new one the next time. To the linen closet!

Clue #7: A constant reminder of our anniversary. I even included the date!

Location: A photo of our wedding.

Clue #8: Final Clue: You are doing AWESOME so far. To claim your present you must remember where Kevin hid Dwight’s sales leads.

Location: If you watched last week's office you would know to check the trash! I hid his present under our kitchen trashcan.
