Happy 6th Birthday to Simon & Sophie!

We shamelessly celebrated Simon & Sophies's 6th birthday tonight.

 We had ice cream and candles.

(Mr. R. and I might have had brownies underneath our ice cream as well.)

They stole our hearts from the minute we saw them posted on craigslist five years ago.

(We adopted them a few weeks after their 1st birthday.) 

They have taught us patience, to not EVER turn your back on a plate of food, the art of sleeping anywhere and in any position, how to consider something other than ourselves, and what it truly means to love unconditionally.

They have made our life always exciting and beyond entertaining!

We cannot imagine a day without them.
