Thankful for their relationship. Mr. R. became a Dad the minute he laid eyes on Pip. He cut the cord, held her for the first time, and she melted his staunch Republican heart. For the first year of her life Mr. R. had Pip by himself every Monday. He became and expert diaper changer, bottle warmer, and he knew her cries better than I did. This year he has been traveling more his schedule and work load have picked up immensely. However, he hasn't let his work affect his relationship with Pip or our family life. He makes time for museum trips, corn mazes, and trips to the playground. He reads stories before bed and dances along with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song.
Mr. R. your are my favorite baby daddy.
