Mr. R. and I don't have a lot of money in the travel account this year, we will be spending our summer here in Florida, but that doesn't mean that we can't travel virtually. With the help of the internet, Netflix, and a little creativity Mr. R. and I will be "traveling" to some pretty awesome locals in the next few weeks. Last night we headed South of the Border to Mexico.
Here's his invite:
It may not be Spring Break but we can still VISITE MEXICO! Join me in Playa del Carmen for an afternoon at the beach. And after Pip goes to bed we'll enjoy a five star dinner, a few rounds of Mexico's national game, I kid!, and finally some sangria before bed.
To make the date happen I used this template for the airline tickets, planned an early evening beach trip (that tired Pip out and made for an early bedtime), made Chicken Tortilla Soup in the crock-pot (it finished cooking while we were at the beach), pulled UNO out of the game cabinet, and picked up grocery store Sangria. We also watched Mr. Monk goes to Mexico on Netflix.
