December Daily: SEVEN

Pip is definitely a morning person. This week she has been trying to push up her morning wake-up call. In fact this morning she was up at FOUR A.M. ready to play. Considering I had just fed her at midnight, Mr. R.  took the 4AM shift. He says she played for a solid hour in her walker spinning the alphabet wheel and babbling away.
I am pretty sure girlfriend has some sass. Her babbles are getting more vocal and deliberate. She will stare right at me and bang on the table or toy until she gets her point across. This usually results in me grabbing every possible toy, pacifier, or book in sight in hopes to appease the princesses wishes.

Mr. R. wants me to include that this picture was taken during tonight's 80's dance party. Pip is a big fan of the Go-Gos.

December Daily: SIX (Manamana!)

I need to state for the record that we currently employee the best baby sitter ever. She gave up part of her Sunday to watch Pip FREE OF CHARGE, so that Jeff and I could go to the movies.
Mr. R. and I both grew up in the 80's when the Muppets, Fraggle Rock, and Full House were the best shows on TV. When I heard the Muppets were coming back AND that Jason Segal was the director/star I was in.
Rita arrived and we headed out for movie popcorn, 90 minutes of awesomeness (Maniacal Laugh!), and some Christmas shopping. I've made my list and checked it twice, only two more people to buy for :)

December Daily: FIVE

Mr. R. was out on the town tonight. Meaning it was just us girls holding down the fort. We played, bounced, read Christmas stories, had dinner, and Mr. R. was home just in time for bath time and good night kisses.

December Daily: FOUR

May your days we MERRY & BRIGHT!
Christmas lights make everything magical. I love walking past our tree in the living room, I sometimes wish we could leave it up year round. And I cannot put into words how excited I am that Mr. R. was on board for outdoor lights this year. I think they look gorgeous!

December Daily: THREE

Saturday we celebrated the birth of Betsy!
We love her sass and her stories.
Mr. R., Pip, and I were invited to Cruisers, downtown to celebrate over the BIG SALAD (Seinfeld reference), fountain drinks, and fried mushrooms.

The bonus, we also were able to see the grand illumination and the British Invasion of Old Town St. Augustine.
Pip continues to be enthralled with Christmas lights! So much so, Mr. R. actually added a few to our place.

December Daily: TWO

Our hometown of St. Augustine comes alive at Christmas. From downtown light displays, to the island with it's street light decorations, to the Amphitheater's Winter Wonderland, St. Augustine is one of my favorite places to spend Christmas. I highly doubt we will ever spend Christmas anywhere else now that Miss Pip is in the picture.
Last night we ventured to the Amphitheater for the light display at Winter Wonderland. Pip loved the lights, the giant tree, the elves, the horses pulling the sleigh. She is at the age were lights are mesmerizing. Her little face was just in awe.
She was also enthralled with this guy!
Piper loved Santa!
I have to say that Mr. R. and I were in complete shock! Pip is usually not a fan of strangers, she clings to Jeff and I for dear life. But Santa, he made the cut! She went right to him and gladly stayed on his lap for multiple pictures.

December Daily: ONE

Mrs. Republican (Mr. R's Mom) celebrated a birthday on December 1st. Although we couldn't be there we celebrated via phone call and with two awesome gifts picked out by Mr. R. The man has gotten much better at Christmas and Birthday shopping :)
And of course Miss Pip had to get in on the Birthday action.
  Happy Birthday Mama R!
 We love you very much!
And the picture below is what happens when you allow Piper to hold any type of paper.
Crumbled and shredded are her to favorite moves.
